Every centre has their own approach, but we prefer to let you guide us as much as possible to help us understand your child and what is best for their development. Here are some of the ways we always make sure to have your child’s best interest at heart.
Knowing what works at home influences how we educate and care for your child. We ask that you let us know even the littlest things that could help your child feel comfortable with us, especially when we are all still getting familiar with each other.
We also share the strategies that work well for your child when they are in our care, so you can try the same at home. This way, the transition does not stress your little one, because daycare should really feel like an extension of their home.
As they want to play a vital role in your child’s education and development, we ensure our educators have the qualifications and experience to deliver high-quality educational and care programs. From time to time, we may share pictures of your child in action at our daycare either via a personal text to their parent(s) or by sharing them directly at the time of pickup. A common theme to all of these pictures will be you seeing your child doing something they love. We truly understand that you may be conflicted about sending your little one to daycare and that, at times, there may be tears. We always encourage your child, through our loving and caring actions, to feel loved and safe enough to approach us when they’re hurt, stressed, anxious, or just want a cuddle. We want you to feel confident that your child is happy here and looks forward to their time with us.
We encourage you to meet and socialize with our educators and the other families by participating in our social events that bring our daycare community together. Many of our new families, in particular, appreciate this opportunity to meet new friends in the local community. We look forward to meeting you and yours!
Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to stimulate little minds through sensory play. Your child is encouraged to become more curious, explore and learn more about their surroundings, develop their problem-solving skills, and discover their own interests.
